TIRE O-RING INSTALLATION GUIDE

For Tubeless Racing / Beadlock / Low-Pressure Wheels Professional Installation Recommended

TOOLS & MATERIALS NEEDED

STEP-BY-STEP INSTALLATION

STEP 1: DEMOUNT THE TIRE

1. Deflate completely — Remove valve      core.

2. Break both beads — Use bead breaker      or machine.

STEP 2: CLEAN THE RIM GROOVE

1. Remove old O-ring (if present) with      plastic pick.

2. Spray groove with brake cleaner →      Wipe dry.

3. Inspect groove — No nicks, burrs,      or rust.

STEP 3: VERIFY O-RING SIZE

STEP 4: LUBRICATE

1. Light coat of tire lube on:

• O-ring (both sides)

• Rim groove

• Tire bead (inside)

2. NO PETROLEUM (WD-40, grease) —      destroys rubber!

STEP 5: INSTALL O-RING

1. Start at valve stem → Work around      rim.

2. Push into groove with thumbs — No      tools!

3. Ensure NO TWISTS — Must lie flat.

STEP 6: MOUNT THE TIRE

1. Lay tire on rim — Bottom bead      first.

2. Use plastic tire irons — Work bead      over rim lip.

3. Top bead last — Pop into place.

STEP 7: INFLATE & SEAT

1. Reinstall valve core.

2. Inflate to 40–50 psi → Beads should      “POP” into place.

3. Check O-ring — Still visible in      groove? Good.

STEP 8: FINAL CHECK

TROUBLESHOOTING

SAFETY WARNINGS

• Wear safety glasses

• Use tire cage if inflating >40 psi

• Never stand over tire during seating
